UCSF's Mini Med School for the Public presents a lecture on fructose, and explains why corn-based high fructose corn syrup and other artificial sweeteners that bypass regular carbohydrate digestion is dangerous for your liver, and can lead to obesity, insulin resistance and diabetes, bad cholesterol build up, and other dangerous health effects.
