Today is the 20th anniversary of Pi Day, 3/14. It will be celebrated in a festival at the San Francisco Exploratorium at 1:59pm, with people walking around the Pi Shrine 3.14 times, and of course, the eating of pie.
NPR offers various reader-submitted "pi-ku," which is like a haiku, but with a 3-1-4 syllable pattern, and in reference to Pi, rather than nature. Here's my favorite:
